Hydrological Engineers
Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing hydrological monitoring schemes
Analyzing and interpreting hydrological data
Providing technical support for the installation and maintenance of monitoring equipment
Collaborating with other professionals on water resource management projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, hydrology, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in hydrological engineering
Proficiency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
Ability to work in a team and under pressure
Water Quality Analysts
Responsibilities:
Monitoring water quality parameters
Conducting chemical and microbiological analysis
Maintaining and calibrating water quality monitoring equipment
Preparing reports on water quality findings
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, chemistry, or a related field
2-4 years of experience in water quality analysis
Proficiency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
Ability to work independently and in a laboratory environment
Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialists
Responsibilities:
Using GIS software to analyze and present hydrological data
Updating and maintaining GIS maps and databases
Providing technical support for GIS-related applications and projects
Collaborating with other specialists to integrate GIS into water resource management decisions
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, remote sensing, or a related field
2-3 years of experience in GIS analysis
Proficiency in Chinese and English, both written and spoken
Ability to work with GIS software packages (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
Knowledge of hydrology and water resource management concepts is preferred but not required.
