The survey targeted professionals working in water resource management, environmental consulting, and related fields. The report highlights the importance of hydrological cycle monitoring in sustainable water resource management and identifies areas for improvement.

1. Introduction:

The hydrological cycle is fundamental to understanding water resources and their management. It involves the continuous movement of water between the Earth's surface, the atmosphere, and the subsurface. Monitoring this cycle helps in understanding water availability, predicting natural hazards, and supporting sustainable water management practices.

2. Survey Objectives:

The survey aimed to:

Evaluate the current state of hydrological cycle monitoring practices.

Identify the challenges and barriers encountered in monitoring.

Assess the future needs and opportunities for improvement.

3. Survey Methodology:

A structured questionnaire was developed and distributed online to a pool of professionals.
