Job Description:
The Hydrological Monitoring Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
1、Collecting water quality and quantity data at various locations within the department's jurisdiction.
2、Analyzing data to assess water quality and quantity trends, and reporting on these findings to senior management.
3、Developing and implementing monitoring programs to ensure effective management of water resources.
4、Liaising with other departments and agencies to share data and coordinate activities related to water resources management.
5、Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging issues related to water resources management, including climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies.
6、Performing any other duties as assigned by senior management related to the effective management of water resources.
Requirements:
1、Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.
2、Minimum of 5 years' experience in water resources management.
3、Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
4、Knowledge of hydrological monitoring techniques and equipment.
5、Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6、Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7、Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
8、willingness to travel within the department's jurisdiction as needed.
9、Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel are required.
