The Department of Water Resources Management is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Hydrologic Project Monitoring Personnel. This position will be responsible for carrying out crucial water quality and quantity monitoring activities at various hydrologic projects throughout the state. Applicants must possess a strong background in hydrology, water resources management, or a related field, along with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Position Overview:
Conducting regular water quality and quantity monitoring at assigned hydrologic projects
Collecting, processing, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with environmental regulations
Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to project managers and other stakeholders
Using GIS and other relevant software to map and analyze water resource data
Responding to emergencies and providing on-call support as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in hydrology, water resources management, or a related field

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various monitoring sites throughout the state

Experience with GIS and other relevant software for water resource data analysis
Certification in water quality monitoring techniques
Familiarity with environmental monitoring equipment
