Job Summary:
The Hydrological Monitor will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on water quality and quantity data. This position requires regular fieldwork, operation of monitoring equipment, and data entry into our integrated water management system. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of environmental science, water resource management, and be proficient in Chinese and English.
Responsibilities:
1、Collect water samples and measure water levels, temperature, pH, and other relevant parameters.
2、Analyze data using standard chemical and instrumental methods.
3、Maintain and calibrate monitoring equipment regularly.
4、Prepare detailed reports on water quality and quantity, including graphical representation of data trends.
5、Assist in planning and implementing long-term monitoring programs.
6、Stay up-to-date on current practices and new technologies in the field of hydrological monitoring.
7、Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the department.
Requirements:
1、Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
2、2-5 years of experience in environmental monitoring or a related field.
3、Proficient knowledge of Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
4、Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5、Strong organizational and time-management skills.
6、Willingness to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
7、Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the city as needed.
