The Lunan Hydrological Monitoring Center is seeking candidates for the position of Hydrologist. The center plays a crucial role in monitoring and managing water resources in the southern region of the country, and is dedicated to providing accurate and timely data for decision-making. Candidates interested in this position should have a strong background in hydrology, as well as experience in fieldwork, data analysis, and communication skills.

Position: Hydrologist

Responsibilities:

- Conducting routine monitoring of water levels, quality, and flow rates.

- Collecting and analyzing data to assess the health of aquatic ecosystems.

- Responding to emergencies and providing timely information to decision-makers.

- Developing and implementing monitoring plans and protocols.

- Collaborating with other agencies and organizations to share data and expertise.

- Writing reports and providing technical support to management teams.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Hydrology or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of hydrology, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Excellent fieldwork skills, including proficiency with monitoring equipment and techniques.

- Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency with statistical software packages.

- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise reports.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to remote locations as necessary.
