Hydrologic Monitoring in Jilin Province

Requirements for the Hydrologic Monitor Position in Jilin Province:
1、Bachelor’s Degree in Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a closely related field.
2、At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, handling both fieldwork and laboratory analysis.
3、Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions quickly.
4、Knowledge of standard monitoring equipment and techniques, including proficiency in sampling and analysis methods.
5、The ability to work well under pressure, with the capacity to handle demanding fieldwork conditions.
6、A clean driving record with the ability to travel to various monitoring sites, as necessary.
7、Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and understandable manner.
8、The willingness to work long hours during peak monitoring periods, including overnight shifts if necessary.
9、A passion for environmental conservation and water resources management, with a commitment to protecting and preserving natural resources.
10、Familiarity with commonly used software tools for data analysis and presentation, such as Excel, GIS, or other relevant software packages.
The Jilin province government offers competitive compensation and benefits for this position, including a generous salary package, health insurance, and other standard employee benefits. The initial appointment will be made for a probationary period of 6 months, during which time the candidate will demonstrate their ability to perform the duties of the position successfully. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be offered a permanent position with the Jilin province government.
